Job Overview
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant. As part of Avery Healthcare, you will deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Base Pay Range
Package description: Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, fall risk, signs of infection, and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
* Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Ideal Candidate Must
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and others in the home.
* Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from team members.
* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Requirements
* A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
