Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Associate to join our Business Outsourcing Services team in Beaconsfield. In your role, you will work with clients and their finance teams or bookkeepers, assisting with year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud accounting software support. Your responsibilities include providing services, advice, and solutions that make a real difference. You will also gain experience working with partners and senior staff members.
Progression is rapid, with responsibilities from an early stage. While studying for your chartered qualifications, you'll take on more senior roles and help supervise new trainees. Opportunities may also include ad hoc assignments such as software implementation projects, cloud accounting 'health-checks,' or client secondments. Internal training will be provided by our professional services learning and development team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a range of services including statutory accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns, software implementation, and system 'health-checks.'
* Understanding our clients and their businesses.
* Keeping your manager informed of issues, ensuring work is completed to standards, and documenting work clearly.
* Familiarity with internal accounting software and cloud technologies.
* Providing advice and solutions for accounting queries.
* Using automation to improve efficiency.
* Prioritizing tasks and monitoring time against budgets.
Qualifications:
* AAT qualification or equivalent.
* Experience in professional practice, including statutory accounts and VAT returns.
* Commitment to completing ACCA or ACA qualifications.
Desirable software experience:
* Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel, Silverfin.
