Overview
Two personal assistants are requested to support a happy and lively 13-year-old girl living in Bude. She has Autism and a learning disability and would like someone who can build a positive relationship with her and provide 2:1 support.
Responsibilities
* Support her with communication.
* Enable her to enjoy activities in her local community: outdoors, parks, shops.
* Engage in sensory play (water, bubbles) and baking.
* Assist with planning and participating in activities in weekends and school holidays.
Details
Up to 5 hours per week are available and flexible. Mainly weekend and school holiday availability will be required. The rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.
Qualifications
* Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential.
* A full driving licence is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
