Role: Class Teacher Location: Sefton Salary: £650–£800 per week (dependent on experience/qualifications) To apply, you must show proof of right to work in the UK. About the Role Connex Education is working with a SEND School in Sefton to help recruit a Class Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This School is situated across 3 sites and caters for pupils aged 2-19 years with complex needs. This role will consist of teaching subjects across primary, secondary and sixth form. About the School This SEND School provides excellent educational opportunities that are responsive to the individual needs of the pupils. They have high expectations and support young people to be independent, confident and resilient. As a Class Teacher at this School you will deliver lessons to a diverse group of pupils, manage class effectively and use approaches appropriate to pupils needs. Person Specification Experience of working with pupils with SEND and have a deep understanding f the National Curriculum for SEND and its teaching. Be competent with the use of ICT to support learning. Ability to motivate, engage and enthuse learners. A commitment to undertake all relevant in-service training and continual professional development Ability to plan and assess work which results in learners making expected and better progress. Be dynamic and focused on providing a calm and supportive environment. Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. Are you interested?
