GRIEF RECOVERY WORKER – NOTTINGHAM WELLBEING HUB, NOTTINGHAM, TEMP, 30HRS, GRADE 4 CORE, £27,500, FTE
Wellness in Mind are seeking a Grief Recovery Worker to join their team delivering specialist mental health psychoeducation and support to adults in Nottingham City. This role is based at the Nottingham Wellbeing Hub and community outreach locations, providing structured grief support interventions to a diverse range of clients.
This role will have a specific focus on working with those who are experiencing mental ill health or emotional difficulties relating to bereavement. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to provide impactful support to a broad range of people, and to contribute to the pilot of a specialist grief support offering for Nottingham. Training opportunities will be provided for the successful candidate.
For this role we are seeking applicants who demonstrate empathy and sensitivity, ability to confidently discuss emotional and sensitive topics, good risk awareness, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting those using substances or otherwise affected by substance use.
