Are you an innovative, enthusiastic, and hardworking Occupational Therapist with an interest in acute rehabilitation?
The Therapies Department at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI) is looking to appoint you.
The Stroke and Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy Team requires an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to work within the unit to ensure patients receive daily therapy to enhance their recovery. Flexibility to work in other wards within DGRI is required.
The multidisciplinary team works closely to ensure all patients receive evidence-based, patient-centered care. Rehabilitation plans and progress are regularly discussed.
Within the ward, there is an integral, well-equipped therapy treatment room and an outdoor rehabilitation space with easy access from the ward.
Supervision and personal development systems are well established within the service. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged, and staff at all levels are involved in ongoing service improvements.
Your hours will be worked over Monday-Sunday, to be discussed at interview.
