Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as proficiency in IT to manage patient records effectively.
Duties
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories.
* Manage appointment schedules and ensure efficient patient flow within the practice.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
* Strong patient care skills with a genuine interest in promoting oral health.
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Excellent nursing skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong IT skills for managing electronic patient records and scheduling systems.
* Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
