This venue marketing manager role will be based in the London Topgolf office and oversee marketing and communication for Topgolf U.K. venues in London and Glasgow, supporting priorities such as driving traffic and enhancing brand reputation/awareness at the local level. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of the UK market to support the growth of Topgolf venues in the UK. This position requires a strong grasp of marketing tactics and will involve collaboration with the U.S. Venue Marketing team, the Topgolf creative team, and local activation agency partners. Additionally, the role involves cross-functional work, particularly with venue operations teams, to meet visit and sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support corporate-driven venue marketing initiatives through effective communication, proactive engagement, understanding of Topgolf brand goals, and collaboration with agencies to localize programs and assets. Report on KPIs to measure success and identify improvements.
2. Ensure brand standards across all UK venues by coordinating with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Event Sales teams for signage and branded spaces.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop local promotional opportunities and internal communications.
4. Research and implement in-market engagement opportunities, utilizing creativity and market understanding to support venue success.
5. Manage social media accounts, including content creation, production needs, and relationships with content creators to support communication strategies.
Critical Skills & Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing local marketing strategies to drive sales.
* At least 3 years of ability to work autonomously and proactively under time constraints.
* Minimum 1 year of experience working in a multi-unit environment.
* At least 1 year of experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization.
* Experience reviewing insights and leveraging data for performance planning.
* At least 1 year managing social media content strategies.
* Strong organizational skills, effective communication, results-oriented mindset, creative problem-solving ability, proactivity, sound business judgment, and excellent time management.
* Knowledge of current social media trends and local market cultural moments.
This role is based in London, with regular travel (approximately 25%) to Glasgow.
