Site Manager / Senior Site Manager– Industrial Scheme (Peterborough) ️ 45-Week Project | Start ASAP Freelance or Permanent | Competitive Day Rate / Salary We’re working with a well-established main contractor who is delivering an industrial development in Harlow and they’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on this 45-week programme. This is an onsite, construction role. This is a great opportunity for a confident and proactive PM with a strong track record in delivering industrial, logistics, or warehouse projects, ideally on steel-frame builds with tight timelines. ️ Project Overview: * Industrial new-build development * Steel frame with associated external works and infrastructure * Approximate duration: 45 weeks * Located in Peterborough, with easy access from surrounding areas Key Responsibilities: * Lead site delivery and drive programme to completion * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams * Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are upheld * Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management * Maintain strong communication with client, consultants, and commercial team * Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing * Manage site paperwork including RAMS, progress reports, and handover documentation ✅ Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a Project Manager on similar industrial schemes * Comfortable managing steel-frame builds and fast-paced programmes * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black or White card preferred) * Able to start within the next few weeks * Based within a reasonable commute to Harlow What’s On Offer: * Immediate or short-notice start * 45-week project with strong support from head office and commercial team * Competitive day rate (freelance) or fixed-term contract available * Opportunity to work with a respected and well-run main contractor Apply Now If you’re an experienced Project Manager ready to lead a high-quality industrial build from start to finish, we’d love to hear from you
