Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) - Full Time (Leicester, LE3)
Location: Leicester, LE3 • Job Type: Full-time, Long-term • Rate: 90-105 per day
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs.
* Support the emotional, social, and academic development of the children.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
* Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all children can thrive.
Essential Requirements
* Experience working in a SEN or teaching assistant role in the UK.
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
* A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude with the ability to engage children.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
