Production Manager – Rolling Stock
DB Cargo UK is recruiting for a Production Manager to join our Asset Maintenance and Management department based at our Stoke depot.
You will be leading and directing the Traction and Rolling Stock maintenance activities at our Stoke Depot and other DB Cargo sites across the UK, ensuring cost effectiveness and the repair of the fleet in accordance with technical safety and quality standards.
What you will be doing
* Ensure all material requirements are met and develop/implement action plans to address shortages.
* Produce condition and production reports and review specifications for new work.
* Act as Recovery Supervisor/Incident Engineer at incidents and derailments, participating in inquiries as required.
* Take responsibility for health and safety on the depot, including safety tours, IPEs and staff communication.
* Update and ensure staff competencies on CCMS and other systems remain high.
* Ensure compliance of plant and equipment at the site.
* Complete and maintain RA and SSOW periodic reviews.
* Maintain high employee engagement through transformational management and handle disciplinary actions and grievances per company policy.

* Experience leading a large and diverse engineering maintenance facility with traction and rolling stock knowledge, maintaining safety and compliance.
* IOSH qualified or suitable equivalent.
* Completed Accident Investigation Course and Personal Track Safety.

* Experience overseeing industrial manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and welding environments.
