What You’ll Do as a Category Manager Category Ownership & Strategy; * Analyse spend, suppliers, and market trends. * Create and execute annual plans to meet savings and rationalisation targets. * Conduct bi-annual supplier strategy sprints to ensure top performance. Supplier & Pricing Management; * Negotiate prices and mitigate cost increases * Review top spend suppliers monthly and take corrective action where needed. * Run proactive tenders to secure best market pricing. Project Management; * Manage critical paths and range plans. * Ensure supplier instructions and milestones are clear and met. * Present product developments in customer meetings when required.
