Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Irrigation Maintenance Manager to join our growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident in communicating with clients, and hands-on with system monitoring, servicing and maintenance visits.
Key Responsibilities
As Irrigation Maintenance Manager, your role will include:
Client Communication
Communicating clearly and professionally with clients
Keeping customers informed when system issues or alerts arise
Providing updates and practical advice during maintenance visits
Managing Your Schedule
Managing your own daily workload and timetable
Planning and organising site visits for maximum efficiency
Scheduling and attending ad-hoc call-outs when required
Daily Monitoring & Smart System Management
Daily monitoring of irrigation systems using Hydrawise and Linktap platforms
Checking for alerts, faults or unusual system behaviour
Proactively contacting clients when attention or repairs are required
Seasonal Start-Ups & Shut-Downs
Completing irrigation system start-ups (spring commissioning)
Carrying out system shut-downs and winterisation
Ensuring systems operate efficiently and correctly for each season
Maintenance Visits
Carrying out monthly maintenance checks for customers on maintenance packages
Testing zones, checking coverage and ensuring correct scheduling and run times
Inspecting valves, heads, drip lines, sensors, pressure and overall system condition
Updating customer notes and service logs after each visit
Installation Support
Supporting the installation team during the quieter winter months
Skills & Experience
Experience in irrigation system servicing and fault-finding
Knowledge of smart irrigation applications (particularly Hydrawise and Linktap) desirable but not essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
