Reporting to the Transport Manager/Depot Manager, you will be responsible for planning efficient multi-drop delivery routes, maximising fleet utilisation, and ensuring full compliance with transport legislation. The Role As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in the smooth running of daily operations. You will be responsible for: Planning and scheduling multi-drop delivery routes for drivers across Ireland Maximising fleet efficiency while reducing delivery costs Allocating loads and optimising truck space usage Liaising with the Transport and Depot Manager to coordinate routes and loads Ensuring compliance with legal driving hours and tachograph regulations Monitoring, reviewing, and improving routing efficiency Carrying out ad hoc transport-related duties as required What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you will need: 2-3 years' experience in a transport planning role Excellent geographical knowledge of Ireland Strong understanding of transport operations and planning processes Knowledge of tachograph rules (advantageous) Proficiency in IT, transport systems, and Microsoft Office Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excelle...
