Tutor Vacancies – English, Maths & Science (GCSE Level)
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Tutors to work 1:1 with young people in English, Maths and/or Science, supporting learning up to GCSE level.
The Role
* Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition in English, Maths and/or Science
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
* Build positive, supportive relationships with young people
* Support learners who may be disengaged from mainstream education
* Sessions may take place within a school setting or in public spaces such as libraries, depending on the learner’s needs.
Essential Requirements
* Experience teaching or tutoring at least one subject (English, Maths or Science) up to GCSE level
* Experience working with young people with additional needs, such as:
o Autism
o SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
o Medical needs
* Ability to plan and deliver personalised, learner-centred sessions
* Patient, flexible and empathetic approach
Desirable
* Teaching qualification
* Experience working outside of traditional classroom settings
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
