Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Wallace Medical Centre.
Practice Nurse experience is desirable; however, we welcome applications from nurses willing to undertake training in:
1. Management of long-term conditions (diabetes, IHD, hypertension, asthma/COPD)
2. Cervical cytology and contraception
3. Independent nurse prescribing
About Us
We provide care for approximately 8,500 patients in central Falkirk. Our clinical team includes 4 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs and 1 Practice Nurse.
We also have a dedicated Practice Manager and administrative support team, alongside an extensive multidisciplinary team including District Nurses, Health Visitors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Primary Care Mental Health Nurses and Pharmacotherapy teams.
Wallace Medical Centre is in a relatively new era with a fresh look Partnership at the helm. The practice is friendly and enjoyable to work in with a highly valued ethos of teamwork. Most of our salaried clinicians have chosen to stay on from being locum, trainees or have returned to the practice. It is a fun place to work most days and provides high-quality care in a supportive environment.
