The Person
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer who excels at innovating in highly regulated markets and is driven by a passion to disrupt established practices using technology. You will thrive in a high-velocity, dynamic environment, quickly absorbing complex healthcare challenges and translating them into cutting-edge solutions in our radiology offerings. Your collaborative approach ensures cross-functional collaboration with business development, marketing, finance, and operations, positioning technology as a key driver of our strategic growth
The Role
As CTO, you will lead our technological development and implementation of innovative solutions to drive our vision to revolutionise the radiology business. Collaborating closely with our leadership team, you will be pivotal in shaping our technology strategy, driving product innovation, and ensuring seamless integration with clinical platforms and external client systems. This pivotal role demands a problem-solver and a proactive leader with a strong understanding of new and upcoming technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Technology Development: Oversee and manage the creation and deployment of advanced technological solutions, ensuring they deliver robust performance, scalability, and reliability.
* Client Connection & Integration: Lead efforts to integrate our technology seamlessly with client systems, ensuring effective communication and compliance with industry standards such as HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
* Clinical Platform Management: Manage and continuously improve our clinical technology platforms, ensuring they meet both internal operational needs and external client requirements.
* Product and Service Roadmap: Develop and manage a clear, strategic roadmap for our products and services, prioritising innovation and responding swiftly to market needs.
* AI & Automation: Drive the development, deployment, and integration of AI technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles, ideally within healthcare, health-tech, or related technology-driven industries.
* Demonstrable expertise in software and product development, technology integration, and system architecture design.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.
* Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business development, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
* Track record of successfully managing technology teams, projects, and budgets in fast-paced environments.
* Experience working with our technology stack: SQL, Python, Javascript, Azure.
Nice to have:
* Background in medical imaging, clinical systems, or AI-driven healthcare technologies.
* Understanding of healthcare IT standards and protocols, including HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
* Familiarity with healthcare compliance, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and ISO standards.
* Experience in entrepreneurial or start-up environments, driving growth and scalability.
Qualification and training:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical discipline.
* Additional training or certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Software Development Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), or Healthcare IT standards are advantageous.
