Our Forensic and Investigation Services team has vacancies open to candidates with an interest in fraud prevention—whether through investigation, control gap analysis, staff training, or a combination.
Our team provides counter fraud services to public and private clients, including NHS bodies, who report annually to the NHS Counter Fraud Authority. Our staff undertake proactive and reactive roles, supporting investigations, testing controls, and preparing reports. We welcome candidates from other sectors seeking a career change, bringing diverse experience to reduce fraud risks for our clients.
You will support senior staff by completing assigned tasks, liaising with clients, conducting testing, devising training, and compiling reports. All work is reviewed by senior staff before issuance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting Fraud and Bribery Risk Assessments, evaluating controls, and scoring residual risks.
2. Reviewing policies for fraud and bribery risks, recommending controls, and supporting disciplinary actions.
3. Reporting to senior management, producing work plans, progress reports, and presenting to audit committees.
4. Handling referrals of fraud or bribery, estimating losses, and conducting investigations, including evidence collection and interviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Ability to pass security vetting (NPPV + SC) and DBS clearance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and initiative to manage workloads independently.
* Passionate about learning, diversity, and delivering quality service.
