Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing engineering business that manufactures low batch specialist components. The role is permanent on an evening shift pattern, operating HAAS machinery to produce parts for the Oil & Gas sector.
Work Schedule & Hours
* 4 day working week as standard (Monday to Thursday)
* 39 hours per week across standard day shift with flexible start/finish
* Friday optional overtime available
* Overtime available at x1.33 midweek
Compensation
Salary & Package: £17.50 to £18.50 per hour as a guide. Overtime at x1.33 midweek.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating a range of CNC lathes (HAAS and Fanuc controlled machines)
* Machining materials such as aluminium and stainless steel
* Working on low/medium batch volume projects to tight tolerances and standards
Qualifications & Experience
* Skilled CNC Turner with setting and operating experience
* Previous exposure to HAAS and Fanuc controlled machines an advantage
* Experience in low/medium volume, specialist projects with emphasis on high quality precision work
* Programming experience an advantage but not essential
