The Role - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems
Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:
1. The service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems utilized within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
2. Visiting customer sites and providing customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting.
3. Liaising with external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and technicians from NHS and private scientific organizations.
Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
* A competent background as a field service or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high-value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
* Experience working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing, or high-value electronic/electromechanical capital equipment is desirable.
* Full product training will be provided, so applications from various technical backgrounds are welcome.
