Based at our Slough site, this role plays a key part in supporting smooth laboratory operations by chaperoning vendors, coordinating equipment activities, and acting as a liaison between our scientists, service providers, and engineering teams.

What you will do
5. Serve as the first point of contact and chaperone for external vendors across multiple laboratory buildings.
6. Support the delivery and completion of work orders to ensure efficient and compliant service execution.
7. Assist the LET team with routine equipment-related tasks including freezer transfers, speed vacs, and HPLC waste handling.
8. Maintain equipment stock levels and manage inventory using a Kanban approach.
9. Participate in laboratory inspections and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
10. Coordinate the sending, receiving, and movement of departmental equipment.
11. Act as a liaison between scientists, service providers, and the engineering department to enable effective communication during breakdowns, maintenance, and calibration activities.
What we are looking for
12. Previous experience working in a laboratory, life sciences, or GMP environment is beneficial.
13. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
14. Good computer literacy across standard systems and tools.
15. Ability to communicate clearly and build collaborative working relationships.
16. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new processes and equipment procedures.
17. Ability to work on-site full time at our Slough facility.
