We are recruiting for a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager to join our UK South Construction division on a Healthcare project. The role involves understanding and managing the design requirements of the tender/project, providing guidance to design co-ordinators, and contributing to the selection and responsibilities of the design team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Input into the selection of the design team.
2. Define the design team’s responsibilities and scope of services.
3. Agree on tender and construction programmes with the design team.
4. Hold regular design meetings and involve critical sub-contractors as necessary.
5. Advise on the selection of specialist sub-contractors.
6. Consider alternative building methods, sub-contractors, and materials.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience as a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager with strong internal package experience, change control, and ideally with BSA and Healthcare experience.
* Ability to manage a full design team, including overseeing design managers and coordinators.
* Experience with site/contract procedures.
* Strong organisational, planning, and workload management skills.
* Good knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and View Point for Projects (4Projects).
