Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Management Consultant to support the definition and initial delivery planning of a Management Information (MI) strategy for our newly launched Wealth platform. This initial engagement will focus on scoping and shaping a comprehensive and scalable MI and reporting framework that supports capital flows, investment deployment, and performance tracking across Wealth strategies.
The successful candidate will lead a diagnostic phase collating business needs and translating into clearly defined system and data requirements ahead of proposing an implementation plan. This role demands a confident self-starter with strong data analysis acumen, process design expertise, the ability to work cross-functionally across business and technical teams, and knowledge of the Private Markets Investor operating model.
Key Responsibilities
MI Strategy Definition
* Define the critical performance and operational metrics needed to support the Wealth platform (e.g. distribution, net capital, pipeline, portfolio performance, liquidity).
* Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise key reporting requirements across capital raising, investment monitoring, and strategic management.
Data Mapping and Requirements Gathering
* Map where the relevant data resides across internal systems and teams (e.g. Fund Operations, Distribution, Portfolio Monitoring, eFront, spreadsheets).
* Lead stakeholder workshops and interviews to document business needs and current-state data flows.
* Translate business requirements into clear data, systems and process specifications to inform future build and resourcing decisions.
Implementation Planning
* Design a high-level implementation roadmap with phased deliverables.
* Recommend appropriate technologies, tooling, and resourcing models.
* Highlight dependencies, risks and critical success factors for execution.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience working as a Management Consultant in financial services, ideally within private markets, fund operations, or wealth management.
* Strong analytical, documentation and process design skills.
* Ability to work across teams to gather, challenge and refine business and technical inputs.
* Excellent communication skills, including experience facilitating workshops and producing executive-level deliverables.
* Self-starter with a challenger mindset, able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
* An AI-first mindset, with the ability to pragmatically and safely consider where AI technologies may be applied to improve processes, reporting, or insight generation.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with reporting platforms and data environments such as Power BI and Snowflake.
* Understanding of the full data lifecycle and principles of scalable reporting architecture.
* Experience with performance and distribution metrics in an investment context.
