Key responsibilities include:
Domestic
* Supporting maintenance in collaboration with the nursery manager
* Organising a cleaning schedule aligned with daily routines
* Maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene across all nursery areas
* Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, surfaces, windows, and floors
* Managing laundry and stock of consumables
* Handling waste and recyclables appropriately
Health & Safety
* Wearing a clean uniform and suitable footwear
* Following health, safety, and welfare policies and procedures
* Adhering to risk assessments and COSHH regulations
* Storing cleaning products safely and securing the nursery at the end of shifts
Your experience
* Friendly interaction with children, parents, staff, and visitors
* Ability to use initiative, prioritise, and work independently or as part of a team
* Good organisational skills and willingness to undertake training
* Punctuality, reliability, and confidentiality
