Title: Content Designer Department: Product Development - Design City: Milton Keynes Location : Hybrid The role As a member of the Experience Design team, you'll collaborate with user research, product and service design to partner with teams throughout the business. Together, these specialisms design journeys which are communicated effectively, research-backed, and launched with self-service support by design. Initially you'll be embedded within Customer Experience (CX), playing a pivotal role in elevating the quality of content used to support our property partners. After absorbing invaluable knowledge here, you'll then support product designers and teams within product development. Reporting to the Content Design Manager, you'll be based in our Soho London office 2 days a week, with frequent visits required to the Milton Keynes office. What you'll be doing Auditing, re-writing, and creating content such as canned responses, Knowledge Base articles, and FAQs to help us speak clearly and meaningfully. Working with cross-functional product teams to create clear, scalable content, which minimises friction and future inbound. Collaborating with customer support, B2B marketing, people development, and other SMEs to make sure our terminology and messaging align and resonate. Supporting the creation of customer content models with your information architecture knowledge. Supporting the integration of content within our design system leveraged by product designers. Collaborating with user research, service design, and marketing to visualise touchpoint ecosystems and user journey mapping. Developing a strong understanding of our industry, home hunters, property professionals, and competitors. We're looking for someone who Has a passion for customer service and internal systems. Is a hands-on individual contributor and collaborative team player. Partners on any stage of the process which requires a content design lens: from user research, information architecture, user interface design, and embedding content strategically. Manages their time comfortably to deliver on multiple defined problem spaces in a fast-moving, agile environment. Balances the needs of multiple stakeholders to prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines. Presents and interacts with critical thinkers confidently, evidencing their decision-making process. Understands user behaviour and business success through qualitative and quantitative data and user insights. Designs experiments to test different language approaches using user research tools. Proactively hunts out opportunities to impact a defined problem area. Finds new and innovative ways to use generative AI to think, plan, and write faster and better. What you'll bring to the role Proven experience designing content within product development teams and leveraging audience-specific terminology with just enough brand personality across a user journey or task. Workshopping skills which bring together disparate stakeholders and SMEs to reach consensus. A passion for accessibility and inclusive design.
