What does this Care Assistant job involve? Hours of Work:20 - 35 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 07:30 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 21:30
* Provide quality care by attending to residents' physical and personal needs, including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
* Promote residents' dignity, privacy, and independence, and respect their rights at all times.
* Assist with basic housekeeping tasks such as making beds, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
* Help with the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to hygiene regulations.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and development activities.
* Assist with the distribution of medication and contribute to the preparation and review of care plans.
Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?
* It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
* You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
* Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
* Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
