Seven Social Care are currently looking for a Residential Support Worker to work in Exeter, Devon.
Pay: £13 – £16.58 per hour
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time
You will be working in a Small Residential Home wroking with young people who have had difficult journeys.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents by following established policies and procedures.
* Participate in the planning and implementation of individual care plans.
* Support residents in engaging with social and recreational activities.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
Requirements
* Ideally you will have experience of working with Autism, you will be resilient and reflective in your practice and willing to take on a challenge
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
