About this opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our Early Years team within Children's Services. This role is key to supporting the delivery of high-quality services for children and families by ensuring financial processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with statutory requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining and verifying financial records, administering financial systems, and providing clear advice and guidance to colleagues, service areas, and external partners. Working closely with the Early Years and Education and Skills teams, you will help ensure that resources are managed effectively to support better outcomes for children across our communities.
