We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Administrator to join our MIS team during a crucial period of the year. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality service to both students and colleagues. Therefore, we are looking for an individual who embodies a polite and professional attitude, possesses excellent communication skills, and demonstrates a flexible, proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to the MIS team during a peak operational period.
* Coordinate and manage data input and reporting processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including academic staff and students.
* Monitor key deadlines and support the team in meeting critical college-wide reporting requirements.
* Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with data protection and audit requirements.
* Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.
* Supervise and support junior administrators where required.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
Essential Experience:
* Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational or MIS environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data management.
* Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
* A flexible and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Desirable Experience:
* Experience working within a Management Information Systems (MIS) or further education setting.
* Knowledge of student records systems and associated funding requirements.
* Understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR) and their application in a college setting.
* Supervisory or team leadership experience.
* Relevant administrative or IT qualification.
