We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Estates Manager to lead the management of our school site, buildings and grounds. This is a key role ensuring our environment is safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming, providing a positive setting for learning and development.
You will lead and manage the Site Team, oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance and contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety compliance across the site. Working closely with the Head of Business and Operations and Headteacher, you will play a vital role in shaping and improving the school environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Leading, managing and developing the Site Team
2. Overseeing maintenance, cleaning, contractors and site operations
3. Ensuring high standards of safety, security and presentation across the school
4. Managing health & safety compliance, inspections and reporting via SafetyCulture
5. Acting as a key holder and supporting emergency procedures
6. Coordinating site logistics including traffic management, room setups and daily operations
