Salary Scale: TA2, £12,753.41 - £12,955.59 per annum actual salary
21:40 hours per week TTO plus 5 TED days
The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work in one of our classes during the morning and over the lunchtime period. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new direction for the school. The role will be term time only: 21 hours 40 minutes (8:40 am – 1:00 pm) per week. There is also an expectation that the post holder will work in our breakfast club from 07:40 to 08:40, Monday to Friday, during term time.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience supporting children within the primary age range and school setting
* Have experience or interest in working with children with specific and/or complex needs
* Have high expectations for children’s progress and overall achievement
* Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum learning that captures children’s interest
* Be flexible, forward-thinking, innovative, and highly energetic
* Understand how children learn, including social and emotional development
* Have a passion for quality teaching and learning to enable the best outcomes for children
* Be able to work well as part of the whole school team and community
* Support our Christian ethos as a church school
