We're partnering with a prestigious international law firm to recruit a
Conflicts & AML Analyst
for their London office. This is a unique opportunity to join a global team at the forefront of legal compliance, supporting high-value transactions and client engagements across multiple jurisdictions.
About the Role:
As a Conflicts & AML Analyst, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the firm meets its ethical and regulatory obligations. You'll be responsible for identifying and resolving conflicts of interest, conducting AML checks, and supporting new business intake processes. This role offers exposure to high-profile clients and complex legal matters, making it ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in legal compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct conflict searches and analysis using industry-standard tools.
* Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and compliance teams to resolve potential conflicts.
* Perform AML due diligence including KYC, sanctions, PEP screening, and adverse media checks.
* Support lateral hire clearances and business development initiatives.
* Assist in implementing ethical walls and maintaining accurate records.
* Generate and circulate conflict reports across the firm.
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree required; legal qualification a plus but not essential
* 2+ years' experience in conflicts and AML within a law firm or financial institution.
* Familiarity with tools such as InTapp Open, LegalKey, and Capital IQ.
* Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage time-sensitive projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
