The University is looking for an expert in microfluidics and biosensing to contribute to a new HF‑TIC project. The postholder will work in the Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre (NIBEC) / Centre for Digital Healthcare Technology (CDHT) on the Belfast campus and will be responsible for the research and development of novel sensing methodologies for next‑generation bio‑sensing. Collaboration with scientists and engineers within industry will be essential to develop, test and validate sensor systems for advanced diagnostic applications.

About You
The postholder will be required to have:
* A higher degree in Engineering, Science, Computing Science or a related discipline.
* A PhD in a Physical Science, Engineering or related subject.
* Evidence of experimental research or development experience in a field related to microfluidic development.
