Position Overview
This role is based 5 days a week at our Shirebrook HQ. It offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly for the UK Head of Forecasting & Reporting. This department manages all financial figures for entities operating from Head Office, including management accounts, statutory accounts, and budgeting/forecasting.
The role has become available due to recent growth, acquisitions, and a need for process improvements. You will oversee the daily financial responsibilities of all departments you own, potentially involving future acquisitions and integrations.
You will collaborate within the management accounts process, provide training to the team, and be responsible for the financial figures of your departments, supporting query resolution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Owning overhead costs for specific departments, including monthly prepayments and accruals
2. Producing departmental reports for financial planning and variance analysis
3. Building relationships with commercial departments as a business partner
4. Calculating and owning figures for quarterly budgets and forecasts
5. Presenting monthly finance reports to line managers and senior finance
6. Managing financials of an entity within Frasers Group, including management accounts, balance sheets, and statutory audits
7. Supporting group and statutory audits
8. Assisting with integration of new subsidiaries
Qualifications
* Qualified ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years of relevant experience
* Proficient in MS Excel for complex data analysis
* Strong stakeholder management and challenging skills
