About Our Client

This is a not-for-profit organisation operating in the accounting and finance industry. As a small-sized team, they focus on delivering specialised services while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Job Description

3. Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Maintain financial records and prepare reports for internal use.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the organisation.
6. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7. Support the finance team in audits and compliance activities.
8. Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally.
9. Contribute to improving financial processes and systems where needed.
10. Provide general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Assistant should have:

11. A strong understanding of financial processes and principles.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
16. Prior experience in the not-for-profit or finance sector is advantageous.
