Full-Time Temporary Case Administrator - National Probation Service Location: Crewe Contract: 6 months (with potential for extension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week Hourly Rate: £12.71 Our client, a reputable organisation supporting community safety and offender management, is hiring for a dedicated Case Administrator to join their team in Crewe. What you'll be doing: * Setting up and maintaining accurate offender and victim information on approved databases * Managing referrals and fostering relationships between offenders, victims, service providers, and external agencies to support risk management and reduce reoffending * Preparing, maintaining, and collating case records, files, and management information in line with standards * Handling communications via telephone, email, and paper, ensuring information is received and distributed appropriately * Providing cover for reception and telephone enquiry services * Acting as a single point of contact within the team for specialist areas as required * Dealing professionally and effectively with service users, including those in distress or displaying challenging behaviour, seeking support when necessary * Making practical arrangements such as appointments and directions for Sentence Plan implementation * Performing other administrative duties as needed What you'll bring: * Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy * Organised, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities Additional information: * Successful candidates will undergo HMPPS vetting, which may take approximately 6 weeks. * The role involves a thorough background check, including DBS, employment, education, and address verification over the past five years.
