Your New RoleAs an Architectural Technologist, you will work across a broad range of projects from concept through to completion (RIBA Stages 2-7). Your responsibilities will include:
Working collaboratively within the design team or independently across multiple live projects
Preparing planning documents
Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders
Conducting site inspections, including those requiring physical access such as scaffolding
Attending meetings both on-site and in the office
What You'll Need to SucceedEssential Qualifications & Experience:
BSc in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND in Architecture / Building Construction
Minimum 3+ years' experience in practice post-graduation
Working towards ACIAT or MCIAT
Experience across both Residential and Commercial sectors
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Understanding of the UK planning system
Proven site inspection experience
Software Competency:
AutoCAD
SketchUp
Adobe Photoshop
MS Office Suite
Key Skills:
Organised and detail‑driven
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors
Reliable, dependable and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience with Lumion or other 3D rendering software
Within a 40‑minute commute of Kenilworth
What You'll Get in Return
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
Holidays: 25 days + public holidays
6‑month salary review
9‑day fortnight (every other Friday off) - office hours 9:00-18:15
