Overview

Community Care Assistant: Join Nurseplus as a Homecare Assistant and make a real difference in your community every day. You will provide compassionate care directly in clients' homes, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs, mental health conditions, dementia, or elderly clients.


What You'll Be Doing

As a Homecare Assistant, your role is vital to improving the quality of life of those you support. You will provide personal care, assist with nutritional needs, administer medication, and offer companionship — ensuring clients feel valued and cared for in their own homes. All care is delivered in accordance with each client’s individual care plan, tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities include:

* Deliver continuity of care with the same clients and consistent hours.
* Support clients with daily living tasks as outlined in care plans.
* Provide companionship and promote independence and dignity.
* Follow personalised care plans and maintain accurate records as required.


What We’re Looking For

* You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
* A full UK driving licence is essential; travel expenses are covered up to 45p per mile.
* Strong communication skills and a good standard of English.
* An enhanced DBS (police check) is required, which you can apply for upon registration.
