Resin Category Manager
IPL Schoeller (the ‘company’) was formed from the merger of IPL Plastics and Schoeller Allibert on July 1, 2025. The company has operations across North America (11 manufacturing plants) and Europe (16 manufacturing plants), with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. Job Responsibilities
* Strategic Sourcing and Resin Strategy – responsible for developing and implementing end‑to‑end resin strategies related to virgin and recycled materials across European sites, aligning with global objectives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
* Stakeholder Collaboration – work with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, commercial, and on‑site supply‑chain managers, to ensure consistent execution of the resin strategy and integrate it into the long‑term business plan.
* Supplier Relationship & Risk Management – build resilient supply networks through strategic partnerships, collaborate with the Procurement Director to mitigate supply‑chain risks and support company growth, including M&A.
* Performance & KPI Management – define and monitor KPIs at each site to measure success of short, medium and long‑term plans, providing progress updates and data‑driven insights across all levels.
* Cost Management & Budget Oversight – manage the category budget, monitor expenses, analyze variances and implement corrective actions, while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes and enhance service levels.
* Continuous Improvement & Sustainability – lead continuous improvement initiatives and incorporate environmentally sustainable material practices in line with the company’s sustainability goals.
* Leadership & Communication – provide leadership to on‑site supply‑chain team members, foster high‑performing teams and ensure effective communication across teams to implement value‑adding changes.
