FM Manager (Retail / Commercial) – Barnsley
Salary: £55,000 + benefits

About the Role:
We’re hiring an FM Manager for a well-established retail & commercial mixed-use site in Barnsley.
You will be responsible for the full FM delivery (hard & soft services), managing budgets, contractors, and ensuring a safe, compliant environment for tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all site FM operations – planned & reactive maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, utilities.
*
Ensure H&S and statutory compliance at all times.
*
Oversee M&E contractors and ensure best-value procurement.
*
Control budgets, service-charge accounts and life-cycle planning.
*
Work closely with the centre management team to provide an excellent tenant and customer experience.
*
Drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience as an FM / Ops Manager in retail, mixed-use or large commercial sites.
*
Strong technical knowledge (M&E bias preferred) and excellent compliance skills.
*
Confident budget and contractor management.
*
Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
