The Corner School is a specialist school for Children with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, graded good by Ofsted, and run by the charity Unlocking Potential. We have children in both key stage 1 and 2, class sizes are no bigger than five children, and all children have talented Teaching Assistants.
Our school follows the national curriculum, and we have an excellent professional development opportunity to ensure staff are invested in and are supported. We have a very friendly and excellent dedicated team of staff who are very proud of the children and their achievements.
Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our small and friendly school community.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide exceptional learning and behavioural support, working alongside teachers, therapists, and parents to help our children excel in their learning and personal development. You will have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, be resilient in working with children with SEMH needs, and be passionate about helping our children achieve their full potential.
* Hours of work: Full Time (Mon-Fri), Term Time (38.5 weeks)
* Location: The Corner School, Brent, London
* Salary range: £24,728 - £25,228 (this is the actual pay received for term-time working and inclusive of holiday pay, full time equivalent = £28, 199 - £28,769)
