ABOUT THE ROLE
To be responsible for assisting the firm’s Client Accountants to help deliver an excellent client service with particular focus on the cash management, account reconciliations, invoice raising and assisting with month and quarter end reporting.
SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reconciling the Client Accountant’s portfolio of bank accounts periodically in line with reporting requirements (monthly and quarterly)
* Investigating reconciled items on multiple reconciliations within 30 days to avoid breaches with the RICS
* Liaising with other staff in the firm to ensure reconciled items and outstanding queries are resolved in a timely manner
* Raising charges and receipting cash for payments where applicable and input rental payments onto the firm’s banking software ready for approval
* Cash management of client funds, ensuring money is transferred in line with client requirements
* Assisting the Client Accountant with other ad hoc duties when required
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Qualified or studying AAT
* Previous experience working in a similar accountancy role
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* IT and software skills, particularly proficient Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Excellent and professional communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with your colleagues, both within accounts and the wider business.
No accounting qualifications are required for this role, however the following are key skill requirements:
•Maths & English G.C.S.E A-C
•Good Numeracy Skills
•IT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
