POSITION: JUNIOR SCHOOL CHINESE (MANDARIN) TEACHER
Highgate International School Thailand will open in August 2026. A premium international school located in the beautiful province of Chonburi, it will cater for students between the ages of 2 and 18.
Operated in partnership with Siam Motors Group and Highgate School, London, staff will enjoy access to a wide range of world-class facilities, to include a full-sized FIFA approved football pitch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 450-seater auditorium, a black-box theatre, a STEM building and a Library and Digital Media Centre. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher will:
* Plan, implement and review an engaging and responsive Chinese programme of study for native and non-native Pre-Prep and Junior School students that subsumes linguistic, cultural and historical aspects of learning
* Record, engage with and utilise both formative and summative attainment data
* Foster curiosity, rigour, engagement, enthusiasm, community and kindness among the student population
* Work in accordance with school policy and in the wider interests of the school
* Contribute positively to a school culture founded upon the considered maintenance of high expectations
* Communicate effectively with members of the wider school community
* Attend regular meetings and support the safe running of the school campus

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher will:
* Be a fully qualified primary teacher
* Have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
* Be a native-level user of Chinese (Mandarin)
