The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Food Production Operatives in Wythenshawe, M23. Duties will include: Operating and maintaining machines used to remove wax or cut cheese. Cutting or grating blocks or wheels of cheese into smaller pieces as required. Manually or mechanically removing the rind from cheese to minimize waste. Cutting cheese and moving boxes of cheese using a trolley. Checking cheeses for mold and setting them aside for further assessment if needed. Weighing boxes of shavings and test cheese, inputting the data into the computer, removing 3 stickers, placing them on the box, and packing into boxes. Unloading lorries with loose cheese and stacking cheese on pallets. We are looking for candidates who have experience working in a fast paced environment that involved either manufacturing or packing products. We have the following shifts available: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday 10pm-6am The pay rates are below: Early Shift: £12.21 per hour Late Shift: £12.52 per hour Night Shift: £13.06 per hour Overtime is paid at time and a half Long term ongoing work, potentially leading to permanent work for the right candidates.
