Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Source, evaluate, and execute investments in landscape and seascape restoration projects across the UK
* Conduct commercial and financial due diligence on restoration opportunities, assessing revenue potential from ecosystem service agreements
* Build investment-grade financial models incorporating long-term contracted payments from corporate buyers, water companies, and other offtakers
* Structure deals and negotiate terms with project developers, landowners, and ecosystem service purchasers
* Develop investment cases and present opportunities to the investment committee
* Monitor portfolio company performance across financial, environmental, and social KPIs
* Build and maintain relationships with corporates seeking to secure ecosystem services critical to their operations
* Identify market opportunities as the payment for ecosystem services framework evolves
Requirements:
* Strong experience in infrastructure equity, real estate equity, private equity, or growth equity
* Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring skills
* Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing investments
* Experience conducting commercial due diligence and negotiating transaction terms
* Genuine interest in transitioning investment skills toward environmental and social impact
