4. Manage and review corporate tax compliance for your own portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
5. Lead on tax projects, helping clients navigate complex issues as regulations evolve.
6. Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact for their tax needs.
7. Identify planning opportunities and collaborate with specialists when deeper insight is needed.
8. Support junior colleagues through day‑to‑day guidance and coaching.
9. Keep your technical knowledge up to date and ensure all work reflects current legislation.
10. Work closely with teams across the business to deliver joined‑up and effective solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager should have:
11. A background in delivering both compliance and advisory work, including supporting international groups with their corporate tax needs.
12. Strong experience in corporate tax compliance across a varied client base, with confidence handling larger or more complex engagements.
13. A track record of managing and developing people, offering guidance that helps others grow.
14. A proactive approach to spotting opportunities where clients could benefit from additional services or deeper support.
15. The ability to manage high‑quality advisory projects, from due diligence and structuring to international tax matters, while coordinating input from specialists when needed.
16. Experience preparing proposals and contributing to business development, including researching target clients and supporting senior team members in meetings.
17. CTA or ACA qualification (or equivalent).
