About the role…

Working with the Finance Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of the core business contract management system. This system enables the business to invoice its customers and pay its suppliers in an accurate and timely manner. The role is of a hybrid nature, typically spending two days in our Avove Chorley office with potential for additional visits for team meetings.


What will your day look like…

1. Processing transactional data in a timely and accurate manner, including project set-up, raising of purchase orders, timesheet management, and detailed cost and revenue allocation.
2. Driving quality and continuous improvement in respect of processes and service delivery.
3. Maintaining the integrity of the financial and commercial master data.
4. Liaising with operational and commercial colleagues and setting up system and report-based controls to ensure data held is current and verified.
5. Working with commercial and finance colleagues to embed accurate cashflow reports.
6. Maintaining structured data and backup repository.
7. Query resolution and escalation.
8. Working with customers and suppliers to develop and foster positive working relationships.
9. Ensuring key reconciliations are performed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
10. Supporting the delivery of information during client and company audits.


About you…

This role is perfect for someone with a finance mindset, with accuracy and attention to detail at the heart of delivery. You will have previous experience in a related role such as database administration or a transactional-focused role such as AP or AR in a complex organization. You should also demonstrate evidence of driving continuous improvement. You will have strong IT skills, including experience with large ERP and Microsoft Office products, and be used to working with high volumes of data. Previous knowledge of Netsuite and/or Proscope is advantageous but not essential. Highly organized, you will be able to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to quickly interpret requests and show initiative in delivery.
