I’m currently working with a well-established law firm based right in the heart of Cranleigh village, and they’re on the lookout for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team. If you’re someone who enjoys a close-knit, supportive environment where your role really matters, this could be right up your street.
The Role:
You'll be providing top-notch support to fee earners, think traditional secretarial duties, digital dictation, admin, and client-facing reception support. It’s a varied and hands-on role where no two days feel the same.
You’d be part of a busy, friendly team, so someone who can hit the ground running would be ideal. While experience is key (2-3 years in a similar legal support role is the sweet spot), there’s flexibility for the right person with the right attitude.
Key Responsibilities:

* Full secretarial support to fee earners – drafting correspondence, managing files, and digital dictation.
\t
* Keeping client files accurate and up to date.
\t
* Reception-style duties: greeting clients, handling calls, room bookings – everyone mucks in to keep things smooth!
Who we’re looking for:
\t
* Ideally 2–3 years’ experience as a legal secretary (Private Client preferred, but not essential)
\t
* Confident with admin, client comms, and diary management
\t
* Someone who’s happy juggling tasks and can work independently when needed
\t
* Great people skills – you’ll be one of the first faces clients see!
