Purpose of the role We are looking for a Hybrid Cloud Architecture Lead to work in Group Infrastructure Services IA Team. You will Lead the Technical Solutions Architecture community, proactively improve processes, align with broader Platform strategies, and drive team capability to ensure infrastructure solutions are resilient, performant, secure, simple, and sustainable.You will provide hands on architectural guidance and direction ensuring that products deliver in line with the approved patterns and designs. And influence the roadmap of new patterns and products to meet Business Platform requirements.You will be part of the IA Leadership Team with an expectation to contribute to the operations of the IA function and its evolution. You will be able to communicate and explain to non-technical stakeholders detailed technical solutions and constraints. And you will continually develop skills and capabilities in Technical Solutions Architecture for yourself and for your team.Essential skills & main accountabilities The day-to-day line management of a team of Senior Technical Solution ArchitectsTo provide governance and oversight over the design process to drive increased quality of technical solution through design processTechnical escalation points for the Senior Technical Solution Architects and the Business Platform TeamsSupporting high-level cost-estimates to allow the business to work out appropriate strategy and fundingHaving full accountability for designs produced by your STSA and TSA. Review and approve appropriate design artefacts and support the Technical Solution Architect community through governance processesProviding architectural direction for major products or initiatives which involve multiple Technical Solution ArchitectsRepresent Technical Solution Architecture at Leadership levelAccountable for the services provided by TSAsExperience in designing Hybrid and Public Cloud architectures, concepts and technologies including Azure, GCP and AWSExperience of technical team leadershipExperience of senior stakeholder management and strong communication skillsEnd to end product deliveryYou're familiar with and passionate about technologyYou will have an agile mindset with a key understanding of the values and principles to deliver in an agile working environment.Why Lloyds Banking Group Like the modern Britain we serve, we’re evolving.
