Teaching Personnel are hiring a Year 2 Teacher starting in January in a friendly primary school in the Grangetown/Cardiff Bay area.

Role Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum (Curriculum for Wales)
• Build strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy, helping pupils become confident, independent learners
• Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes inclusion and wellbeing
• Assess, track, and support pupil progress, adapting teaching for a range of needs
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Promote wellbeing and inclusive learning for all pupils
Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
• Knowledge of child-centered, inclusive teaching approaches
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Commitment to promoting wellbeing and pastoral care
